DP-1871, San Ysidro Waste Site: Shawn Benavidez proposes to renew the Discharge Permit for the discharge of up to 9,999 gallons per day of domestic septage and food-related grease trap/interceptor waste to a disposal system. Potential contaminants from this type of discharge include nitrogen compounds. The facility is located at 38 Sandia Drive, approximately 1 mile southwest of San Ysidro, in Section 12, Township 15 North, Range 01 East, Sandoval County. Groundwater most likely to be affected is at a depth of approximately 80 feet and had a pre-discharge total dissolved solids concentration of 1,400 milligrams per liter.
