I am a 27 year resident of the East Mountains and frequently utilize the East Mtn Transfer Station. It is a very important facility for those living in this area and prevents our transfer of waste and recycle material into and through the streets o...↓f Albuquerque/Bernalillo County. I support the permit renewal. Personnel are courteous and helpful, and they keep the facility clean. My only complaint over the years is that they change hours and close the facility at the "drop of a hat" too frequently, and unnecessarily. Weather & Covid most notably. Shortening hours does not make sense, and is not justified.
