DP-665, Santa Rosa Wastewater Treatment: City of Santa Rosa proposes to renew the Discharge Permit for the discharge of up to 670,000 gallons per day of reclaimed domestic wastewater to City owned parks and recreational areas for reuse. Potential contaminants from this type of discharge include nitrogen compounds. The facility is located at the end of Power Dam Lake Road, approximately one mile south of Santa Rosa, in Section 11, Township 8 north, Range 21 east, Guadalupe County. The application areas are located in Santa Rosa, in Sections 6, Township 8 north range 22 east (Golf Course); Section 31, Township 9 north, range 22 east (Golf Course); Section 2 Township 8 north, Range 21 east (Park Lake Ballfields and Park); and Section 6, Township 8 north, Range 21 east (City Softball Complex), Guadalupe county Groundwater most likely to be affected is at a depth of approximately 10-20 feet and had a pre-discharge total dissolved solids concentration of 2,900 milligrams per liter.
