DP-1305, Luna Energy Facility: Public Service Company of New Mexico proposes to renew and modify the Discharge Permit for the discharge of up to 250,000 gallons per day of industrial wastewater to a treatment and disposal system. Potential contaminants from this type of discharge include nitrogen compounds, organic compounds, dissolved solids, metals, and chloride. The facility is located at 1895 Arrowhead Drive, Deming, in Sections 16 and 17, Township 23 South, Range 09 West, Luna County. Groundwater most likely to be affected is at a depth of approximately 134 feet and had a pre-discharge total dissolved solids concentration of 235 milligrams per liter.
