Clean Transportation Fuel Program - Provide Public Input on Tier 1 Carbon Intensity Calculators

The New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) is accepting public input on Tier 1 CI Calculators through July 31, 2026. NMED may incorporate this feedback into future versions of the Tier 1 CI Calculators.

  1. Download calculator instructions and workbooks for various fuel pathways by clicking the link below or by visiting CTFP Announcements page under "June 2026 EDU Carbon Intensities (CIs) release" dropdown menu "Tier 1 (T1) calculators and instructions"
  2. Review the contents.
  3. Type/paste comments into the comment field or create one or more documents (preferred file formats: .doc, .docx, and .pdf) with your comments clearly labelled with workbook names, tabs, and cell numbers where applicable.
  4. Upload the document(s) by clicking "Upload document" and selecting your file.



NMED will review comments and evaluate if feedback should be incorporated into a second version of the Tier 1 CI Calculators.
